Lava AGNI 4 launched in India for Rs. 24,999 with 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8350 SoC, Metal frame

Lava has launched its latest smartphone in the AGNI series, the AGNI 4 in India, as promised. The phone features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and peak brightness of 2400 nits.
Powering the AGNI 4 is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with a 4300mm² VC liquid cooling system and Game Booster Mode. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with up to 8GB of virtual RAM. The device runs clean Android 15 with no bloatware, and Lava promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
A major highlight of the AGNI 4 is Vayu AI, a system-level AI interface integrated directly into the home screen. Unlike traditional voice assistants, Lava describes it as an “emotionally aware” companion designed specifically for Indian users. It offers voice and visual intelligence, “Circle-to-Search,” and several task-focused AI agents, including:
- Education - AI Math and English tutors for step-by-step guidance
- Lifestyle - AI Horoscope and conversational AI Companions
- Productivity - AI Call Summary (with transcripts and speaker ID), AI Text Assistant (translation/corrections), and Document Analysis
- Creative - AI Photo Editor (object removal) and an AI Image Generator
The AGNI 4 features an aluminium alloy metal frame with a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame for enhanced durability. It includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera. An Action Key is also included, offering over 100 customizable shortcuts through short, double, or long presses.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 66W Super Charging support, which Lava claims can power the device from 0% to 50% in under 19 minutes.
